Extension, Consultancy and Linkages
DEBESMSCAT recognizes extension, consultancy, and linkages as important means of translating institutional knowledge, expertise, and innovations into positive community outcomes. Through Area V – Extension, Consultancy and Linkages, the institution affirms its commitment to providing relevant and responsive programs and services that address community needs and development priorities. Guided by its institutional mandate, DEBESMSCAT seeks to empower communities, support socio-economic development, and contribute to the achievement of relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The parameters under Area V guide the institution in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and continuously improving its extension, consultancy, and linkage initiatives. These emphasize the development of sustainable programs, the delivery of expert technical advisory and consultancy services, the mobilization of institutional resources, and the establishment of meaningful partnerships with local, national, and international stakeholders.
